and Still Counting!

It’s a New Day is a brief devotion which is updated seven days a week at midnight, Eastern Standard Time. It is a continuation of sixty-seven years of media ministry of the Pacific Southwest District of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.

Over this long period of time a few hundred pastors have proclaimed Christ on the daily radio programs.

Beginning in 2004, the District went to a daily devotional format on its web site. It’s a New Day can be heard every day of the year with a new devotion.

Our speaker is the Reverend Richard Schumm, Emeritus. He produced the radio program for 25 years and all of the devotionals for the past 5 years.
